He Says,
Digital Deepak blog is recognized as one of the top ten digital marketing blogs in India, and it has established itself as a well-known brand. It began as a personal blog where I kept notes on digital marketing for future reference.

My first venture was an online motorbike journal called BikeAdvice, which grew to become India’s No. 1 motorcycle blog, with over 100,000 subscribers and 1 million page views each month. In 2012, I resigned from BikeAdvice.
Not everyone can plan their future and live their life as they like. We make plans, but life has other plans for us. I stumbled into the realm of digital marketing by chance. It had not been planned. However, I am content with where I have arrived. Some powers directed my energy and brought me here.
In 2004, I enrolled in college. I was well aware that computer science and coding were not my cup of tea. In my hometown of Salem, my father has a modest construction firm. So I reasoned that if I couldn’t find work, I could work for him. As a result, I chose Civil Engineering. I was also somewhat interested in the field of house construction because I used to visit my father’s projects. Certain engineering disciplines, such as Fluid Mechanics and Engineering Mechanics, piqued my interest.
In 2007, I received a job offer from Caritor for Rs. 2.75 Lakhs per year ($4000 a year!). (It was later bought by Keane, which was then acquired by NTT Data.) At the time, there was such a great demand in the IT business that corporations were employing students from Civil, Mechanical, and even Chemical engineering disciplines.
When I graduated from college in 2008, the United States was in the grip of a recession. The students’ start dates were pushed back by 1-2 years as a result. I graduated from college, had no job, had to wait a year for a start date, and my father’s firm was too small for me to work full-time. All that space and time had to be filled with something.
At the time, I was a frequent reader of Chip and Digit magazines. I came to found an article that discussed how to make money from blogging and AdSense. I became inspired. It would be good if I could earn some money from home. I no longer need to rely on my father for pocket money.
The initial attempt was to create a blog on Blogger.com and an AdSense account to install ad blocks on the blog. I created a dummy blog and pasted the ad codes into it (at that time AdSense accounts were approved for everyone who applied). I eventually realised that to generate money from adverts, you need a lot of visitors. And to attract a lot of visitors, one must have high-quality content. I also learnt that it is usually preferable to have your domain so that you can maintain control over your brand.
Since that moment, I’ve had a strong interest in bikes. I used to spend a lot of time reading motorbike periodicals and viewing videos on the internet. There was no website in India dedicated to bikes and evaluating Indian motorbike models, which I discovered. That’s when it occurred to me that I could start a motorbike blog. CarAdvice.com.au influenced me. As a result, I founded BikeAdvice.in. That’s how my first company came to be.
I’ve also established a free digital marketing course to assist folks in learning about digital marketing. Stay tuned and subscribe to my blog to stay up to date on the newest in digital marketing.
