Akanksha Redhu is a Delhi, India based fashion & lifestyle blogger has an impressive following on her blog & social media pages. She has started blogging somewhere in 2010 as an interesting means of noting, chronicling and expressing her ideas, projects, inspirations and daydreams. It has constantly evolved ever since and become more fashion & lifestyle oriented. She has worked with many reputed brands and is living the dream of so many aspiring fashion lovers.

She born in Golkonda near Hyderabad but lived all over India. However, most of her childhood spent in Pune and college in Delhi, India. She studied fashion design at NIFT as she always had a strong passion for fashion and loved the creative side of the industry.

She started blogging way back in 2008 to keep notes of her ideas, projects & inspiration. Over the years while building a reader base, it has been firmly focussed on fashion, lifestyle, beauty, travel, and event reportage. Being a fashion & lifestyle blogger she makes her blogs content very engaging by sharing her experience.

She believes;

“If you’re writing genuine, you’ll automatically connect with your readers. The people who relate will hang around, and the people who don’t will leave.”

She writes all posts which vary from fashion to beauty to trends to food and then some more. There’s trendspotting at the Indian Fashion Weeks, reviews of collections, outfit posts, unique products, jewellery and accessories, other fashion related events and whatever else that seems to catch her fancy at the time! She always tries to engage with everyone who writes to her—she takes their readers valuable feedback seriously.

The blog has six main categories:

Fashion & Lifestyle – This section pertains to collections, designers, jewellery, trends, shoes and unique areas of inspiration

Beauty – The Beauty products she uses personally, the makeup she loves, reviews of beauty products, products she uses daily, products you will find in her bag, etc.

Events – This section is all about the various events that she is invited to or events that she try and force attend because she is THAT interested, alcoholic evenings, musical evenings, Fashion Weeks, Blogger meets, etc.

Travel – Places she’s been, want to go, vacations and such.

Media – This is a section which is a collection of the different media (newspapers, magazines, etc) in which her blog or she have been featured.

Shop – This section is a regularly updated & personally curated compilation of the current ‘Objects Of My Desire’, items that are on her #wishlist which you can shop too from her favourite websites. Its a look into her style and gives you a glimpse of stuff that she would love to own/wear.
